I’ll say this for “A Wrinkle in Time”: It’s all heart. But you need more than that to make a decent action movie, and director Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s classic young adult novel is too often content to smile beatifically instead of delivering the necessary thrills.
