Forty years ago this Friday, Steven Spielberg’s E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial had its world premiere in Los Angeles before proceeding to conquer the known universe of entertainment. And as far as ’80s movie moms go, they don’t get much more iconic than Dee Wallace in the 1982 classic.
