Maria Bamford has made clinical anxiety a staple of her absurdist comedy for years, but it’s never been more resonant than right now. Even her therapists are actually relating to her. “They go, ‘Oh, no, you’re right, this is actually rational. It’s not all in your head,’ ” she says. “I think I would prefer to have it in my head.”
